Mr. H. Fehmi Cubukcu is the Co-founder and Director of Horizon Investment S.A in charge of asset management. Prior to his post, Mr. Cubukcu was General Manager, Garanti Bank (Suisse) SA, Executive Vice President, United Garanti Bank NV, Amsterdam, Asset Manager, Turkey Group, Union Bancaire Privee, Geneva, and Treasurer, Bank Ekspres – Istanbul. Mr. Cubukcu holds an MSc degree in Economics, Bourgogne University, France. Paul-Alain Polikar
Mr. Paul-Alain Polikar is the Co-founder and Director in charge of trade finance, project finance and marketing of Horizon Investment SA since 2002. Prior to his post at Horizon, Mr. Polikar was Advisor to General Manager, United Garanti Bank NV, Amsterdam; Head of Turkish Department, Union Bancaire Privee, Geneva; Associate, Hirsch & CIE, Geneva; Private Banker, Republic National Bank of New York; Managing Director, Ferex SA, Geneva; Manager, Ice Cotton SA, Geneva and Managing Director, Stexco Trading SA, Geneva. Mr. Polikar holds a PhD in Metallurgical Chemistry (1979) and a Chemical Engineering degree (1975) from Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne. René Kuratle
Mr. René Kuratle is the Director in charge of commercial transactions, trust services, compliance and administration of Horizon Investment SA since 2002. Before joining Horizon, Mr. Kuratle was the Vice president of Garanti Bank (Suisse) SA.
Yannouk Giess
Mr. Yannouk Giess is the Relationship/Investment Manager in charge of bank relations, investment products & trade execution. Mr. Giess also conducts trade finance & business development activities for commodity companies and contractors. Prior to joining Horizon, Mr. Giess was an Account Manager at Deutsche Bank and prior to that he held various positions in corporate management and shipping. Mr. Giess holds a MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies and a DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in Commodity Trading, Trade Finance and Shipping from the University of Geneva.
